Literary action

I found this page on Yahoo answers when catching up with my feed reader yesterday.  Not sure if it’s legit but it would be fantastic if it was.  Banned books rule!

    This post was linked on Bookcrossing too but the responses were mixed.

    Some people cheered, some people thought it was made up.
    Most agreed though that the person who posted it was seeking attention, and some confirmation that they were “Literary” or superior.

    Either way….don’t ban books!

      Yes, we got our copy of And Tango makes three at the library last week. It’s one of the most challenged books in American libraries. I’d heard a lot about it (it being a picture book about gay penguins raising a chick) but I read it for the first time today and it’s such a cute story. I’m sure the zoo in Central Park gets lots of people visiting just to see Tango and her dads :)
