Paint your cities – part one

Bristol’s a nice place to visit but one of its best features is it’s encouragement of street art. Wandering around town will  bring you into contact with the famous (there’s still some Banksy’s about) and the colourful, the political and the downright strange. One of the great parts of exploring a new place comes from unexpected discoveries just round corners or down previously average looking streets. They can add personality and humour to bland areas of town and let you know that the scruffier bits aren’t all downtrodden or that the newly gentrified aren’t quite so shiny under their newly moneyed veneer.

Thanks to the Nelson Street See No Evil project for so much awesome art in one place.
