Osterley Park and House

During the nice weather in July I spent a sunny Sunday afternoon visiting Osterley Park and House, a National Trust property in West London.  The ornate house is surrounded by manicured gardens and extensive fields that makes it feel like the countryside if you can ignore the Heathrow flightpath.

Almost like the countryside, just ignore the tower block in the distance.

Parts of the house were used in the filming of the latest Batman movie and there was a room showing how the filming was done without damaging the listed interior of the house.

The majority of the grounds are open free to everyone with entry charges for the House and formal gardens.
